Sombor Tales Part Two – A Cocktails Night Out

50s inspired fashion

So, the time has come for Sombor Tales Part Two and I couldn’t be more excited! We’re still in this gorgeous city in northern Serbia and we’ll be here for several other posts that are coming. And they are coming really soon, so don’t go anywhere:)

In my last post called Sombor Tales Part One, we saw one outfit choice for a day of relaxing and taking some time for yourself. In Sombor Tales Part Two we’re going to visit another beautiful spot in the city, View Lounge Bar. It has quickly become one of my favorite places, with its lovely terrace and the view overlooking the city.

Somehow the moment seemed perfect for some cocktails and the two of us couldn’t resist them. The atmosphere was calling for a perfect Hemingway daiquiri. That is how the idea for this blog post came up – how to dress up for a cocktail evening? And we’re not talking black tie events here, just a regular night out with your friends, drinking some cocktails and having fun.

So, what would my suggestion be for a cocktails night out? For this occasion, I decided to go for a 50s inspired retro swing dress. I love the bold red color of it! Also, how cool is this print with vintage sunglasses? I feel like this type of dress is a great choice because you always look like you’ve put effort into choosing the outfit, yet you still look effortless and comfortable. Flats were my choice but you can always go for some heels. That is a great option, too! I chose this small black bag with detailed chain belt; it gave a nice touch to the entire outfit.

Now that we’re done with the descriptive part, let’s scroll through some photos! Let me hear your thoughts, do you see yourself wearing something like this on an evening out? And what would some of your suggestions be? I want to hear it all!
