I wanted to call this upcoming series Sombor Tales because that is truly what these posts are. They aren’t plain fashion blog posts, instead, I hope they will show you a part of the atmosphere the city of Sombor has to offer. Thus the title Sombor tales part one, as this is only the first one to come. This post, in some ways, continues the same vibe we had in one of my previous ones, A quick city getaway of a fashion kind, but the surroundings bring something new to the table.
You know how sometimes times the best things happen when you don’t plan too much? That is how this trip happened, spontaneously and without much planning. So, my lovely friend and uber talented photographer @anafiteart and I decided to go for a long weekend in the city of Sombor. It was my first time there, so I didn’t know what to expect. All I can say it wasn’t a letdown, on the contrary! Sombor is one of the loveliest cities I’ve ever been to – the greenery, the facades, the overall atmosphere, everything was just perfect! And if you’ve never visited Sombor, I’d suggest you find some time and go, you won’t be disappointed!
So, as I was saying, we were there for a long weekend and we did try our best to be quite productive, as you will see. We managed to photograph several outfits, but don’t worry, I’ll split them into several posts. They each deserve their own spotlight. Thus the title Sombor Tales Part One, as there are more to come 🙂
On day one we decided to go to the gorgeous Café de Sol. It was the most beautiful place with such a relaxing atmosphere to it. A place like this one was asking for a bright and colorful dress. That is why I chose this gorgeous retro full circle dress with floral motives. I paired it with some flats and bold orange clutch. And one accessory I cannot go without are oversized vintage sunglasses. I feel like they complete the entire outfit.
But now, let’s see the photos, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Also, are you excited for Sombor Tales part two? 🙂
Till my next post,
Have a great day, Ana!
