Ferris wheels and retro dresses

In my last post, we took a stroll through the streets of Belgrade, to see how it feels to be a vintage girl in the city. Today, this vintage girl in a retro dress is taking another walk but this time, the location a is a bit different – we’re going to a Ferris wheel theme park! And it’s not just any, it’s a park with the loveliest Ferris wheel in the city…

What should you wear on a day like this? Jeans and tennis shoes would seem like a logical choice. But, since we’re perhaps not the most logical here, let’s go for something different. A retro pencil dress, because why not? But, to keep it a bit more casual, I decided to pair it with a not so “elegant” garment – an oversized vintage denim jacket. It turned out to be the right combo! And, in my opinion, the one that actually represents my blog name Eclectic by choice in the perfect way possible.

In this little fashion corner, we’re all about mixing & matching the unmixable and the unmatchable, so that is why I’m guessing this combo works so good. Especially when you pair it with such a perfect setting behind you.

Another thing I love about this photo shoot was the overall darker and more strict look in combination with the whimsical feel of the location. The contrast of those two made such a good mixture, in my humble opinion. And when you add colors to the mix, I’d say I was more than pleased with the end result.

I’ll leave to scroll down the pictures and get a feel of what I was trying to convey here.

Of course, I’d love to hear from you what you think about this type of outfits. Would you try something similar? So then, let’s chat in the comment section!
